Collections Specialist

This role performs collection functions on account balances within assigned financial classes, including serving as a representative of GBMC in court for the collection of co-pays, deductibles, or coinsurances. The position involves following up on patient and insurance balances, processing rejections from third-party payers, and reconciling payment vouchers to ensure proper reimbursement. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, collections, and customer service, preferably within a healthcare or insurance environment.
