Collector

The Collector serves as the account representative for Hoag, working with insurance companies, government payors, and patients to resolve payments and accounts. The role involves evaluating claims for maximum reimbursement, reviewing and initiating appeals for underpayments, and interpreting EOBs and ERAs to ensure proper payment. The position requires a strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, managed care contracts, and hospital billing requirements.
