About this role

As the inaugural Commercial FinOps Lead at Supabase, you will build the commercial and vendor-management function from the ground up, focusing on cloud and SaaS vendor relationships primarily with AWS, GCP, and Cloudflare. You will own technical cost reporting, enforce procurement governance, and drive efficiency initiatives to manage unit economics while partnering closely with Finance, Engineering, and Legal teams.

Responsibilities

Run primary cloud and SaaS vendor relationships end-to-end involving AWS and GCP.
Enforce competitive-bid processes and manage managed-procurement partners for governance.
Build cost dashboards and reporting to surface licensing and usage inefficiencies.
Lead renewals and negotiations to drive realized savings and right-sizing.
Define the operating model for the commercial function and oversight standards.

Qualifications

5+ years in vendor/commercial management or FinOpsExperience owning vendor relationships and contract negotiations
