Commissary Keeper

The Commissary Keeper prepares, stores, and stocks food and supplies for the zoo's animal department while assisting in the procurement of animal diets from approved vendors. This role involves maintaining animal diet freezers and refrigerators according to AZA/USDA standards, performing quality assurance checks, and managing inventories of consumables. The position requires supporting the husbandry needs of all animals by participating in diet preparation and maintaining crucial files and databases.
