About this role

The Captain will lead end-of-line testing, commissioning, and sea trials of Saronic’s mid-sized autonomous surface vessel, ensuring safe and compliant operations. The role focuses on overseeing vessel navigation, crew management, and coordination with shoreside teams to support development of advanced autonomous maritime systems. This position is central to planning and executing missions that validate and refine autonomy capabilities while maintaining strict adherence to maritime regulations. The Captain will also serve as the primary operational liaison with ports, regulators, and other external maritime stakeholders.
