Saronic
The Deck Officer will support testing and commissioning of Saronic’s mid-sized autonomous surface vessel, Marauder, in a variety of maritime environments. The role focuses on safe vessel navigation during operational testing and builder trials while interacting with advanced autonomous systems. The Deck Officer will work under the direction of the Captain and contribute to the execution of vessel mission objectives. This position combines traditional maritime operations with emerging autonomous maritime technologies in demanding offshore and shipyard environments.
Saronic Technologies designs and builds advanced autonomous surface vessels — including the Corsair, Mirage, and Marauder — engineered for both defense and commercial maritime applications. The company also develops Echelon, a unified command-and-control platform for planning, simulating, and executing single or fleet-wide missions. In addition to its vessels, Saronic operates Port Alpha, a next-generation shipyard built to deliver maritime vessels at speed and scale.
