About this role

The Commissioning Technician III leads commissioning efforts on multi-unit natural gas generation fleets, battery energy storage systems, power distribution, and balance of plant equipment. This senior role plans and sequences commissioning activities, oversees engine start‑up, performance testing, island mode and black start procedures, and ensures safety, quality, and completeness of turnover packages. The technician also develops technical standards, mentors junior staff, and serves as the primary technical liaison with engineering, construction, operations, utilities, and vendors.
