Texas CASA
The Communications Manager will position and elevate Texas CASA as a leader in the child welfare community through internal and external communication. The role involves developing print and digital materials, leading social media efforts, managing media engagement, and offering design support for various audiences. The manager will work in partnership with the Communications Director to execute the organization's communications strategy.
Texas CASA is a statewide nonprofit that strengthens and supports local Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) programs across Texas. The organization provides volunteer recruitment and training, program resources, community awareness, data and public-policy advocacy to improve outcomes for abused and neglected children involved in the foster care and juvenile court systems. Headquartered in Austin, Texas CASA offers technical assistance, statewide coordination and advocacy to expand the CASA network and ensure every child in foster care has a trained volunteer advocate.
