Communications Dispatcher

Under the direction of the Communications Watch Supervisor, this role receives and responds to incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching appropriate police, fire, ambulance, or EMS units. The position involves assisting the public with information, performing clerical support duties, and maintaining police records and documentation. Incumbents operate various communications equipment and software programs to ensure maximum safety and efficient service delivery.
