Communications Dispatcher

This journey-level, non-sworn position is assigned to the 24/7 Communications Dispatch Center within the Sheriff's Office. The role involves operating complex emergency communications equipment, including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and 9-1-1 systems, to process calls and dispatch emergency law enforcement and public safety resources. The position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and may include training responsibilities.
