Communications Officer II

Under regular supervision, the Communications Officer II is responsible for communicating with and dispatching public safety personnel, responding to emergency and distress calls, and maintaining dispatch records. The role involves interacting with various public safety agencies, assisting in the on-the-job training of Communication Officer I employees, and acting as a Team Lead in the absence of the Supervisor. This position requires the ability to handle multiple incoming calls, operate radio and CAD systems, and maintain NCIC records while ensuring public safety and officer safety.
