Communications Officer

This position is responsible for answering emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatching appropriate personnel to incident locations. The role involves receiving and screening incoming calls, categorizing and prioritizing them, and providing emergency medical instructions to callers prior to the arrival of responders. The Communications Officer also monitors security cameras, operates telecommunications equipment, and coordinates assistance from other agencies as needed.
