Communications Officer

This role involves receiving, processing, and transmitting emergency and business calls for service while operating and monitoring multi-channel base radios and telephone consoles. The incumbent works to anticipate and exceed customer service expectations in a positive and professional manner, exercising substantial independence and judgment in determining the correct course of action. The position requires maintaining constant contact with the public and other city agencies through various communication methods.
