The Community-Based Counselor provides ongoing individual and family counseling to youth and families, conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering crisis intervention services. This role involves prevention counseling across various Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs and community partner sites. The position requires managing an average caseload of 15-20 cases while ensuring client confidentiality and advocating for youth needs.
We provide temporary & transitional housing, crisis nursery services, school-based counseling, street outreach, and much more to the Rochester community.
