About this role
The Community-Based Protection Associate is a Protection Unit team member who engages directly with communities of concern to identify protection risks and strengthen community capacities to protect themselves. The role supports development and implementation of community-based protection strategies, builds relationships with persons of concern and partners, and contributes to protection planning and accountability. The incumbent spends a substantial portion of time in the field and may supervise protection or support staff to ensure community participation and quality of protection interventions.
