About this role

A Community Coordinator at Buckner Children and Family Services Family Hope Center facilitates, coordinates, and supervises activities, classes, and services that support Buckner Ministries while providing educational and empowerment services to families.

Responsibilities

Coordinate adult empowerment classes and recruit/train volunteers
Facilitate and teach core classes such as Faith and Finance, Work Life, Jobs for Life, ESL, GED, Nurturing parenting
Implement evidence-based curriculums and align with Family Hope Center framework
Organize events and coordinate with community collaborators
Develop and manage systems to coordinate programs and aid communication among sponsors/collaborators

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldMinimum two years of prior related experience providing community-based servicesProficient working knowledge of regulatory standardsExcellent public speaking skillsProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software
