Community Development

Under the direction of the Director, this role provides support for all CDBG and HOME Housing Programs, including Emergency and Minor Repairs, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation projects, Homebuyer Assistance, Infill Construction, Rental Program, and Community Housing Development Organization Programs. The position involves counseling, documentation preparation, and general administration of housing programs while working directly with the public, city departments, and contractors. Essential duties include preparing and reviewing applications, contracts, and bid documents, as well as maintaining financial documentation and program accounts. The role also requires assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, major HUD reports, and Fair Housing activities.
