Community Engagement Fellowship

The Community Engagement Fellowship is a full-time, paid professional opportunity that combines neighborhood-based program implementation with structured knowledge- and skills-building. Fellows serve as neighborhood-based staff for the City’s block-level community safety strategy, acting as the primary bridge between City government and residents in areas with high concentrations of serious outdoor crime. The role involves building trusted relationships with community members, facilitating block-level safety partnerships, and supporting hyper-local interventions to improve community safety and wellbeing.
