Community Engagement Specialist

The Community Engagement Specialist supports the Community Collaboration Program by conducting community assessments, developing prevention strategies, and engaging diverse community members to address substance use issues. The role involves coordinating coalition efforts, facilitating community events, and implementing evidence-based prevention concepts to reduce harm from alcohol, marijuana, methamphetamine, and prescription drugs. This position requires strong collaboration skills, effective communication, and the ability to work with various ethnic and cultural groups in the SPA-7 area.
