About this role
The CHAMPion is a role within the Global Institute for Hispanic Health (GIHH) focused on improving maternal health for at-risk pregnant and postpartum women through education and community engagement. CHAMPions complete an educational curriculum designed to prepare them for work with the maternal population and to build capacity within families and communities. The program emphasizes collaboration with healthcare providers and community resources to promote access to services and better health outcomes.
