Companion Volunteers

Companion Volunteers provide time and emotional support to people with a terminal illness and their families at Musgrove Park Hospital. The role involves offering company, a listening ear, and friendly social interaction to patients in their last year of life. Volunteers commit to flexible schedules, typically up to 3 hours per week, to share conversations or quiet companionship with different patients.
