About this role

This role provides regulatory guidance, compliance assurance, and operational support for Oxy's Gulf of America offshore organization. The position focuses on managing USCG and ABS requirements for offshore facilities, marine systems, and emergency preparedness while coordinating with industry groups and internal stakeholders to ensure operational readiness.

Responsibilities

Serve as company liaison with USCG and ABS on regulatory compliance issues
Conduct annual USCG compliance inspections and assessments for floating facilities
Coordinate responses to regulatory deficiencies and class-related findings
Support projects and Management of Change with applicable compliance requirements
Assess crew performance during emergency drills and provide coaching recommendations
