About this role

Parsons is seeking a Computer Vision/Robotics Intern for Summer 2027 to support the development of an AI-enabled infrastructure inspection capability using drone data, 360° video, and localization. The intern will work with an experienced mentor to integrate cameras and SLAM tools, map inspector motion, and prototype defect detection workflows. This role offers the opportunity to apply robotics and computer vision to real-world infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Ingest and process 360° video using SLAM/localization SDKs
Develop scripts to map timestamps and poses to 3D locations
Prototype computer vision routines for defect detection
