Applied Materials is seeking a Senior Computing Infrastructure Engineer to own the end-to-end design, build, and operation of air-gapped computing platforms for semiconductor manufacturing. This role involves creating infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Ansible and Kubernetes to ensure high availability in offline environments. You will act as a Tier-4 escalation point, collaborating closely with software architects to deliver production-grade systems for critical fab operations.

Responsibilities

Design and develop end-to-end computing platforms for new inspection products
Build and own the infrastructure-as-code stack for Linux platform provisioning
Drive performance optimization across compute, storage, and network layers
Act as Tier-4 technical escalation for production air-gapped systems
Execute full test plans and validate system configurations across host fleets
