About this role

Applied Materials is seeking a Senior Computing Infrastructure Engineer to take end-to-end technical ownership of its computing platform for semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves designing, building, and hardening infrastructure-as-code solutions for air-gapped environments while ensuring maximum performance and uptime for customer fabs. The engineer will act as the highest technical escalation, driving root-cause analysis and continuous platform improvement.

Responsibilities

Design and develop end-to-end computing platforms for semiconductor manufacturing
Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code stack using Ansible, Bash, and Python
Act as Tier-4 technical escalation for production inspection systems

Qualifications

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical discipline
