Conductor

The Conductor will be responsible for safely moving freight trains, operating track switches, and coordinating train movements using hand signals, lantern signals, or radio communication. The role includes hands‑on tasks such as climbing on equipment, applying hand brakes, and inspecting train conditions, while working outdoors in all weather conditions on a rotating schedule. Training is provided both in the classroom and on the job to support long‑term career growth within the railroad industry.
