catawbalands.org

Catawba Lands Conservancy is a nonprofit land trust based in the Charlotte, North Carolina region dedicated to “saving land and connecting lives to nature.” It protects working farms, forests, waterways and wildlife habitat across the Catawba River watershed using tools like conservation easements, land acquisition, and long‑term stewardship. The Conservancy partners with private landowners, communities, businesses and public agencies to secure permanent conservation, expand public access and trail networks, and provide outdoor education. Funding and volunteer support from donors and community partners sustain its conservation and stewardship work.
