Construction Inspector I

Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, this role involves observing and documenting contractor work for the construction and installation of water infrastructure, including mains, hydrants, and treatment facilities. The position requires ensuring compliance with specifications, coordinating field changes, and conducting various tests and measurements. The inspector maintains detailed field notes to monitor progress and prepare as-built drawings while interacting with contractors, developers, and public agencies.
