Construction Materials Engineering Technicians

Construction Materials Engineering Technicians support S&ME's Construction Services group by performing field and laboratory testing of materials such as concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates, collecting and preparing samples, interpreting results, and preparing reports. The role involves collaborating with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure projects meet specifications and safety guidelines, with flexible hours and occasional travel.
