About this role

An NHS Foundation Trust in West Norfolk is seeking an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Upper Limb surgery. The role offers a substantive clinical workload across elective upper‑limb surgery and trauma, generous SPA allocation, flexible job planning and a defined on‑call commitment, available as either a permanent or fixed‑term appointment.

Responsibilities

Provide consultant‑led elective upper limb surgical services
Participate in orthopaedic trauma on‑call rota and acute care
Lead clinical governance, audit and education activities

Qualifications

Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practiseEntry on the GMC Specialist Register in Trauma & Orthopaedic SurgeryFRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) or equivalent specialist qualificationCompletion of a recognised higher surgical training programme
