Consultant Psychiatrist

This role involves providing senior medical cover and overseeing the care of inpatients on the Sandford Ward, a 16-bed female acute service at Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke. The Consultant Psychiatrist will act as the Responsible Clinician, leading clinical assessments, treatment plans, and audits while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care. The position also includes responsibilities for mental health tribunal reports, risk management, and contributing to the on-call rota.
