Contract Accountant

The Compute & Infrastructure Accounting team is seeking a hands-on Contract Accountant to support recurring close and day-to-day operational accounting for OpenAI’s cloud computing, data center, and AI infrastructure arrangements. The contractor will translate contract terms and operational data into accurate accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve exceptions. This role focuses on lease and fixed-asset accounting, contract review, and process improvement to ensure timely, complete, and audit-ready financial outputs.
