Provides independent legal review, negotiation, and preparation of industry-sponsored clinical research contracts for the Clinical Trials Office. Ensures agreements comply with institutional policies, federal and state laws (including HIPAA and AAHRPP), and addresses indemnification, subject injury, intellectual property, funding, and insurance. Advises the CTO Manager and represents the institution in complex transactional matters related to human subjects research.
