About this role

As the Controller for North America, you will ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and accounting operations across Canada and the United States. You will lead month-end and year-end close processes, manage complex SaaS revenue recognition under IFRS, and oversee external audits while supporting the development of the accounting team. This role requires combining deep technical accounting expertise with emerging leadership responsibilities to drive efficiency through automation and AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

Lead North American month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Prepare and review journal entries and key account reconciliations
Oversee subscription revenue accounting and IFRS 15 compliance
Manage Canadian and U.S. indirect tax filings and reconciliations
Coach and develop members of the North American accounting team

Qualifications

CPA designation (CPA, CA, or CPA, CMA)Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMaster's degree preferred
