About this role

The Controller at Fieldguide is responsible for building and leading the accounting function to establish audit-readiness and support growth toward public-company standards. This role includes managing financial reporting, improving close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (such as ASC 606), and preparing for the company's first external audit. The Controller will work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams, requiring significant experience in accounting within high-growth companies, particularly with SaaS revenue recognition and technical accounting expertise.
