About this role

Swarm Aero is seeking its first Controller to build the accounting function from the ground up, including the monthly close, cost accounting, and internal controls. The role will own GAAP financials, ERP systems, and government contract accounting while supporting leadership and cross‑functional teams. This position will also prepare the company for its first financial audits and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and DCAA requirements.

Responsibilities

Own monthly close end to end and improve its speed and accuracy
Build and manage cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations
Stand up government contract accounting and prepare the company for DCAA audit readiness
