Cowboy Space Corporation
The Controls Software Engineer on the Pointing & Tracking team owns the software control loop to maintain precise laser pointing between moving platforms in space and on Earth. This role involves designing, implementing, and tuning closed-loop controllers in a real-time embedded environment using Rust. The position requires translating control theory into robust software implementations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support system-level pointing architecture.
Earth's energy grid can't run at the pace of AI. We are building a space-based power grid with solar-powered GPU data centers in Low Earth Orbit.
