Redwood Materials
The Controls Technician is responsible for implementing and maintaining control hardware, instrumentation, and electrical equipment across production and facility systems. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and other automation components, as well as supporting equipment commissioning, system upgrades, and continuous process improvements.
Redwood Materials is building a domestic stockpile of critical battery materials and deploying large-scale energy storage systems to power data centers and the nation’s grid. The company recovers and refines end-of-life batteries and manufacturing scrap into battery‑grade materials, helping close the loop on the battery supply chain. By scaling recycling, materials production, and grid-scale storage, Redwood aims to secure resilient U.S. supply chains for electrification while reducing the environmental impact of battery production.
