Controls Test Engineer

As a Controls Test Engineer at ALSO, you will define and execute test strategies for both software and hardware components of small electric vehicles, including model-in-the-loop (MIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing. The role requires building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Python and MATLAB/Simulink, as well as integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve integration issues and analyzing test data to inform quality metrics are critical responsibilities. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in embedded/automotive test engineering and a strong understanding of vehicle communication protocols.
