About this role
An Infection Preventionist at Memorial conducts surveillance of infections and infectious diseases, identifying and investigating nosocomial infections to protect patient safety. The role records and trends infection data and contributes to the development of infection control policies and prevention programs. Works with the infection control committee to initiate and implement infection control measures.
