About this role

The Core Product Lead at Supabase owns the product strategy for the company's core division, which includes Postgres, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and the underlying platform substrate. This role involves managing a team of Product Managers, defining strategic bets for the next 12-18 months, and making cross-product prioritization decisions. The leader will report to the Head of Product and represent Core in leadership meetings to translate engineering realities into actionable company-wide stories.

Responsibilities

Build and develop the Core Product Manager team through hiring and coaching
Set and defend the overarching product strategy across the Core division
Make critical cross-product prioritization decisions between Auth, Database, and Realtime
Represent the Core division in leadership meetings and customer escalations
Guide PMs on craft including problem definition and written communication

Qualifications

8+ years of product management experiencePrior management of product managers (Director level equivalent)Background in developer tools or database infrastructureTechnical proficiency with distributed systemsExperience owning products in the Postgres or database space
