Correctional Officer

As a Correctional Officer at the South Bend Community Re-Entry Center, you will maintain the security of the unit and ensure the safety of staff and incarcerated individuals. The role involves managing offenders in various work details, escorting individuals to different facility locations, and monitoring assigned areas for security compliance. This position requires working 7 shifts including weekends, up to 16 consecutive hours per day in a physically and emotionally demanding environment.
