Correctional Officer

The Correctional Officer maintains peace, security, and safety within the Washington County Jail by enforcing facility rules, supervising inmate activities, and responding to emergencies. This role involves conducting searches, completing facility inspections, and utilizing mental health crisis intervention skills to manage stressful situations. The position requires working a five-day on/three-day off rotation with 9-hour shifts across days, afternoons, and nights.
