Corrections Recruit

The Corrections Recruit position involves attending and successfully completing the POST-certified Corrections Recruit Training Academy to become a commissioned Corrections Officer for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The role requires meeting strict physical, medical, and background investigation standards prior to academy graduation. Upon completion, recruits transition into a 10-week Corrections Field Training Program to prepare for active duty.
