COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides occupational therapy services and supports to students across district schools and educational settings under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The role involves implementing individualized interventions to help students develop functional skills for educational participation, including fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation. The COTA collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, collects student progress data, and travels between district schools to deliver services according to IEPs.
