FIREFLY
FIREFLY is seeking a full-time Counsellor to provide evidence-informed mental health services to children, youth, and families across Northwestern Ontario. The role involves delivering individual, family, and group counselling in various settings while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support client well-being. This position is based in Dryden, Ontario, with some travel and flexible scheduling required.
FIREFLY is a not‑for‑profit children’s treatment centre serving Northwestern Ontario with locations in Kenora, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Fort Frances, Red Lake and Atikokan. It delivers integrated treatment and support services for children, youth and their families—such as therapy, assessment, and community‑based programs—aimed at improving health and developmental outcomes. Guided by the vision “Healthy people. Resilient families. Vibrant Communities.,” FIREFLY partners with local agencies to provide accessible, family‑centred care across rural and remote communities.
