Counselor

The Counselor position involves providing triage and individual or group counseling to students facing emotional, social, career, academic, and addiction issues. The role includes conducting crisis intervention, suicide prevention, risk assessment, and mental health status evaluations, as well as developing and implementing outreach presentations and workshops. Counselors also coordinate student transitions to external community providers and may provide administrative support and supervise interns. The position requires a Master's degree in a related field, current licensure or eligibility, and experience in mental health counseling and case management.
