Credentialing / Reimbursement Specialist

The Credentialing / Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for submitting, tracking, and responding to credentialing and contracting requests while assisting the billing department with specific assignments. This role involves collaborating with management to plan and track provider licensure and credentialing, connecting with new providers to gather necessary information, and monitoring staff credentials. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of payer requirements, PEMS, CAQH, and CMS.
