This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing information from the Police Department's information systems and external sources to produce analytic products and reports. The role involves designing data-driven applications, reviewing police reports to identify crime trends, and utilizing various platforms for investigative inquiries and open-source intelligence. The analyst prepares crime trend studies, analyzes audio and video data, and liaises with other law enforcement agencies to share information and techniques.
