Criminal Investigator

This position involves conducting proactive and reactive investigations into violations of the New York State Penal Law and other statutes in conjunction with the Westchester County District Attorney Office. The role requires accumulating valid evidence to assist in legal proceedings, with considerable independence in planning investigations and maintaining 24-hour availability. Incumbents serve as police officers, executing warrants, making arrests, and testifying in court while cooperating with various law enforcement agencies.
